New Year’s Greetings (A Message to Employees from the President)

A happy new year to you all.
So, how did you spend your year-end and New Year’s holidays? Some of you may have spent time with family and friends to refresh your spirits, while others may have already started work on New Year’s Day, looking forward to further growth and success in the year 2026.
This year-end and New Year’s holidays also saw the release of systems for many of our customers. I would like to thank everyone involved, including our partners, for their hard work in this regard.

Looking back on the year 2025, a great deal occurred, and I believe it was a very productive year for our company.
First, in February, we announced our 2025–2027 Medium-term Management Plan and launched our reform of the company with “Four Fundamental Transformations.” In June, we held “IGNITION DAY,” our first all-hands event. I believe that this event affirmed our strong commitment to “transforming” the company and brought all of our employees together.
We also conducted a number of M&As. With the addition of PT. WCS ABYAKTA NAWASENA in Indonesia and Infocom in Japan to our Group, we now have more than 10,000 employees, which I believe brings us one stage higher as a company.
On the other hand, as we announced in July, we unfortunately faced concerns about the leakage of personal information as a result of unauthorized access to company systems. I apologize again for the inconvenience and concern this has caused to our customers and partners, and to our employees as well.
Since then, serious damage has been caused by a series of cyber-attacks, including against our customers. Moreover, there is no guarantee that we will not be the targets of such an attack again. In light of this incident, we will thoroughly review and further strengthen our internal information security measures. Doing this will require a sense of personal involvement on the part of employees, as well as active cooperation, so I would appreciate your kind understanding in this matter.

The current economic situation remains uncertain due to inflation, the continued depreciation of the yen, the slowdown of the Chinese economy, and heightened geopolitical risks. On the other hand, AI is making tremendous progress, evolving and developing at a speed far beyond our imagination. The environment is changing faster and more drastically than envisioned in the NSSOL 2030 Vision, and we must be keenly aware of how we should respond to these changes.

Against this backdrop, in 2026, the company will push forward with full-scale implementation of the “transformation” activities set forth in the Medium-term Management Plan. As such, this will be a year in which, while remaining conscious of the need to steadily produce results from the seeds sown in 2025, we will step up our efforts to realize the goals set out in the Medium-term Management Plan.
Last year, we began preparing offerings based on our unique “Transformation Scenarios,” and these are finally being rolled out to customers in earnest. In addition, the environment for Nestorium in the application field is now in place, and I believe that full-scale utilization and service deployment will now proceed, while the project to introduce a new core business system, NSSOL IGNAS, will also get underway in earnest.
In addition, on January 1, we established the India Utilization Promotion Group in the Corporate Planning & Strategic Alliance Department to incorporate the capabilities of Indian IT resources into our business. Going forward, we will further accelerate our global resource allocation, including each of our overseas subsidiaries, as well as China, Vietnam, and other countries.

This year will thus be one in which a series of major measures are put into motion at NSSOL. Let us grow steadily as a group while vigorously implementing a variety of activities, thereby ensuring the “transformations” set out in the Medium-term Management Plan.

Incidentally, this year is the year of the “fire horse” in the Chinese zodiac.
Coming once every 60 years, this is considered a symbol of “strength and dynamism,” with both fire and horse representing the sun and great flames. As such, their combination is associated with “an auspicious year in which strong energy will open up new paths.” I believe that these are the perfect signs for moving boldly ahead with NSSOL’s transformation.

I would like to encourage all of you at the NSSOL Group to draw on what you have learned and strived for, to move forward with a sense of dynamism in your efforts for change, and to start the New Year strongly in pursuit of the goals of the 2025–2027 Medium-term Management Plan, and beyond that, the NSSOL 2030 Vision.

Last but not least, it is of paramount importance that each and every one of you is in good health, both physically and mentally.
I wish you and your families a healthy, fulfilling, and wonderful year ahead.
