Performing high-quality development in a cutting-edge cloud development environment

NSSOL provides services to local customers through subsidiaries located in six regions throughout Japan, from Hokkaido to Kyushu, and conducts remote distributed development using a cloud-based application development platform. We have built a highly standardized development and testing environment on our in-house cloud infrastructure to conduct development under conditions of usability, reliability, confidentiality, and security. We are able to handle large-scale development and provide high-quality services throughout the entire system lifecycle through the NSSOL Group’s integrated application development and maintenance implementation framework.

NSSOL’s predecessor was the Electronics & Information Systems Division of Nippon Steel, a major user of IT. The technology and expertise cultivated in non-stop production of high-quality products 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, as well as our construction and support capabilities, from development to maintenance, have been passed down to our management as the “DNA of Steel.”

In order to recruit future core personnel, we are actively engaged in activities to promote understanding of the importance of IT to students. In addition, we have established a high-quality on-the-job training system that includes the establishment of the “NSSOL Academy” as a place for training younger employees, as well as developing a database of employee skills and achievements, and providing extensive learning support.

Cutting-edge technology R&D and DX consulting

At the Systems Research & Development Center, more than 100 researchers are engaged in cutting-edge IT research and practical business applications, while the Digital Solution & Consulting Bureau collaborates with business divisions to provide advanced consulting services that support the implementation of DX.
